Recommended Dosage by Weight and Age:
- Under 24 lbs (under 10.9 kg), under 2 years: Use Advil pediatric drops for fever from colds or flu
- 24-35 lbs (10.9-15.9 kg), 2-3 years: 1 1/4 tsp (6 ml)
- 36-47 lbs (16.0-21.3 kg), 4-5 years: 2 tsp (10 ml)
- 48-59 lbs (21.4-26.7 kg), 6-8 years: 2 1/2 tsp (12.5 ml)
- 60-71 lbs (26.8-32.5 kg), 9-10 years: 3 tsp (15 ml)
- 72-95 lbs (32.6-43.0 kg), 11-12 years: 3 3/4 tsp (19 ml)
For children over 12 years and adults who have trouble swallowing tablets:
- Take up to 2 teaspoons (200 mg) every 4 hours
- Or 4 teaspoons (400 mg) every 6 to 8 hours as needed
