Easy Steps for Giving the Right Dosage
- For children under 2 years, under 24 lbs (11 kg): Give 1/2 tsp (2.5 mL) every 4-6 hours. Do not exceed 2 tsp (10 mL) in 24 hours.
- For children 2-5 years, 24-48 lbs (11-22 kg): Give 1 tsp (5 mL) every 4-6 hours. Do not exceed 4 tsp (20 mL) in 24 hours.
- For children 6 to under 12 years, 48-95 lbs (22-44 kg): Give 2 to 4 tsp (10-20 mL) every 4-6 hours. Do not exceed 16 tsp (80 mL) in 24 hours.
Always use the provided measuring device for accurate dosing. Do not exceed the recommended maximum daily amount. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a healthcare professional.
