Step-by-step instructions for use

Take

3 bisacodyl tablets

(15 mg total) with water at the time recommended by your physician.

Do not crush or chew

the tablets.

Preparing the PEG + Electrolytes solution

• Dissolve the entire contents of one 70 g sachet in 1 litre (32 oz) of water
• Mix quickly until the solution is clear
• Do not add any other ingredients
• Refrigerate to improve taste
• Use the solution within 48 hours
• Discard any unused portion

Drinking the solution

Wait for a bowel movement. If none occurs within 6 hours, begin drinking the solution anyway. Drink a glassful (240 mL) every 10 minutes, or as directed by your doctor, until finished. Repeat the preparation and drinking steps for the second sachet.

What to expect

You may start having watery bowel movements within one hour of drinking the solution, and this may continue for one to two hours after finishing. Cleansing is complete when the fecal discharge is clear.

Important safety information

You may feel

abdominal bloating or distension
