HOW TO USE
Step-by-step instructions for using CANESTEN® vaginal tablet
Place
one CANESTEN® vaginal tablet
high into the vagina once daily, preferably at bedtime, for
3 consecutive days
. These tablets and cream are intended
only for vaginal use
and should
never be taken by mouth
. Begin and complete your treatment
before your menstrual period starts
; do not use during menstruation. While sexual activity is possible during treatment, many couples choose to wait until the treatment is finished to help prevent potential reinfection.
How to apply the external cream
Gently squeeze a
small amount of Canesten cream
onto your finger and apply it to the
external vaginal area
where irritation is present. Use
once or twice daily
and only while external symptoms last, for up to
7 days maximum
