HOW TO USE
Step-by-step instructions for using the nasal aspirator
- Before first use, rinse the aspirator with hot water and dry completely.
- Insert a clean filter into the filter chamber and reassemble the aspirator.
- To help loosen mucus, break off one Easydose vial and twist to open.
- Lay your child on their back, tilt their head to the right, and gently place the vial tip in the upper nostril. Squeeze one to two drops. Turn the child’s head to the left and repeat in the other nostril.
- Place the soft tip of the aspirator at the entrance of the baby’s nostril. Inhale gently through the mouthpiece to draw out mucus. Repeat for the other nostril. Lift your baby gently to help any remaining mucus drain.
- Soak a tissue or cotton ball in hydraSense solution and gently wipe your child’s nostrils.
- After each use, unclip the aspirator, remove and discard the used filter, rinse with hot water, and dry thoroughly. Do not sterilize or boil the aspirator. Do not reuse opened vials.
If your child still has difficulty breathing through their nose, you may repeat these steps as needed. If symptoms last more than 10 days, consult a healthcare professional.
