Mix the entire contents of one stick with 500 mL of drinking water. Stir or shake well until the powder is fully dissolved. If drinking water is unavailable, use boiled or bottled water. Do not boil the solution after mixing. For the best taste, serve cold.
Recommended Dosage by Age Group
- Infants under 1 year: Consult a physician before use.
- Children 1 year: 50-100 mL per episode, up to 1 L in 24 hours.
- Children 2–9 years: 100-200 mL per episode, up to 1 L in 8-24 hours.
- 10 years and older: 200-400 mL per episode, or as needed.
Helpful Tips:
Start giving or taking the solution as soon as diarrhea begins. Offer small, frequent sips (about 5 mL) and gradually increase the amount as tolerated. If more solution is needed or wanted, it can be given or taken as tolerated.
