HOW TO USE
Easy Steps for Using Saline Drops for Children
- For children 2 years and under, or those unable to blow their noses: use 4 drops in each nostril, 1 to 6 times daily or every 2 hours as needed.
- For children 3 years and older, able to blow their noses: use 1 to 2 mL (one full dropper) in each nostril, 1 to 3 times daily.
Instructions:
Always rinse the dropper with hot water before and after each use, then wipe it with a clean tissue. If possible, gently blow your child’s nose to clear mucus before applying the saline drops. Lay your child on their back and tilt their head to the right. Place the dropper tip at the base of the left upper nostril, making sure not to insert it more than ¼ inch. Instill the solution, then turn your child’s head to the left and repeat in the right upper nostril. Afterward, gently blow or wipe your child’s nose.
