- Repeat a single dose every four to six hours if needed
- Do not give more than five doses in 24 hours

- Infants 0-3 months, under 12 lbs (under 5.5 kg): Consult a doctor
- Infants 4-11 months, 12-17 lbs (5.5-7.9 kg): 1 mL
- Infants 12-23 months, 18-23 lbs (8.0-10.9 kg): 1.5 mL
