Steps for Giving Children's TYLENOL® Suspension Liquid
Shake the bottle well before each use. For the most accurate dosing, always follow the instructions closely. Whenever possible, dose by your child's weight; if weight is unknown, use age as a guide. Remove the cap and squeeze the liquid into the provided dosing cup. The enclosed measuring cup is specially designed for this product, so
only use the included cup
for measuring each dose. Remember, Children's TYLENOL® Suspension Liquids have a different concentration than Infants' TYLENOL® Concentrated Drops.
Dosing Guide
- Under 2 years, under 24 lb (under 11 kg): use Infants' TYLENOL® Concentrated Drops
- 2 - 3 years, 24 - 35 lbs (11 - 15.9 kg): 5 mL (1 tsp)
- 4 - 5 years, 36 - 47 lbs (16 - 21.9 kg): 7.5 mL (1.5 tsp)
- 6 - 8 years, 48 - 59 lbs (22 - 26.9 kg): 10 mL (2 tsp)
- 9 - 10 years, 60 - 71 lbs (27 - 31.9 kg): 12.5 mL (2.5 tsp)
- 11 years, 72 - 95 lbs (32 - 43.9 kg): 15 mL (3 tsp)
Repeat a single dose every four to six hours as needed, but do not give more than five doses in 24 hours.
