Nature's Way Cough & Cold Recovery is made from a proprietary extract of Pelargonium sidoides (South African Geranium) root. It is clinically proven, in more than 25 scientific studies,to relieve symptoms associated with the common cold. Nature's Way Cough & Cold Recovery is non-drowsy and is suitable for children.Directions: Adults and adolescents 13 years and over take 1.5 mL 3 times per day. Children 6-12 years take 1 mL 3 times per day; Children 1-5 years take 0.5 mL 3 times per day. For best results, use at first sign of symptoms and continue to use for an additional 48 hours after symptoms cease. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 7 days if condition does not improve.Caution: If you have a liver disorder, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Stop use and consult a
health care practitioner if you develop symptoms of
liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eyes
(jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea,
unusual tiredness and/or loss of appetite. If symptoms
are severe or are accompanied by high fever and
shortness of breath, consult a health care practitioner.
Contraindications: Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended due to lack of
clinical data. Known adverse reactions: Some people
may experience gastrointestinal discomfort, and in
rare cases, some people may experience mild
nosebleeds, bleeding gums, hypersensitivity, such as
an allergy, has been known to occur; in which case,
discontinue use. Rare, unpredictable cases of liver
injury have been reported. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. Do not
use if the safety seal around the bottle cap is broken
or missing. Store at room temperature.
