Magnesium Hydroxide Oral Suspension U.S.P.NO FLAVOR - NO SWEETENERLIQUID ANTACID AND LAXATIVE SUSPENSIONFor prompt relief of indigestion and heartburn associated with gastric hyperacidity.Effective relief for occasional constipation.Directions: Shake well before use.
ANTACID - ADULTS: 5 to 20 mL, 5 to 6 times a day, preferably 1 hour after meals and at bedtime, or as directed by the physician.
LAXATIVE - ADULTS: 30 to 60 mL with a glass of water.Caution: Persons who suffer from kidney disease or are on tetracycline should consult a physician before taking this medication or any medication containing Magnesium Hydroxide. Do not use in presence of abdominal pain, nausea, fever or vomiting. A 2 hour interval is required between using this drug and any other drug. Prolonged or excessive use of this drug could lead to laxative dependence. If symptoms persist for more than 1 week, consult a physician.
Keep out of reach of children.
Store under normal conditions. PROTECT FROM FREEZING
